Welcome to WMU’s Volunteer Services

  • Volunteer Services is dedicated to increasing WMU student involvement in volunteer activities.
  • Volunteer Services provides resources and opportunities for all WMU students seeking to discover new experiences through volunteerism.
  • Volunteer Services provides information and referral services to all individual students and student organizations interested in volunteering or service learning.
  • Volunteer Services networks with students, staff, faculty, and volunteer coordinators at other institutions of higher education to promote growth of the student services movement at WMU.

Spotlight On:

American Diabetes Association

Walk for Diabetes in both Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Volunteers needed.

Volunteers will be assisting with passing out maps of the walk route, helping with set up and take down of food and pamphlet tables, and distributing surveys to walkers. Volunteers can either do one or both of these events.Food and a volunteer shirt will be provided to all volunteers.The volunteers would be needed from 7am -12pm.

The Battle Creek Walk is on Saturday October 3, 2009 at the Binder Park Zoo.

The Kalamazoo Walk is on Saturday October 10, 2009 at Celery Flats.
